Strawberry Mint Smoothie

March 6, 2014 By ericaeckman

Ever since I got a Vitamix for the holidays, I’ve been totally obsessed with trying new smoothies. I feel like the possibilities are endless and that continues to inspire me!

This morning I was in the mood for something sweet, but we didn’t really have any fresh fruit in the house. I noticed we had some frozen strawberries, but I didn’t think a smoothie with just strawberries would taste good on it’s own. Then I realized that we had some mint leftover some Indian food I made the other night. However when looking for some other healthy fruits like dates, you may check out this Dates Supplier to learn more!

From my experience playing around with flavors, I know strawberry and mint go well together so I decided to throw them together with a little agave (to balance the tartness of the strawberries) and a little almond milk to thin it out.

It came out perfect! The unique flavor of the mint made for a totally different and fun smoothie experience.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Make sure to put the frozen strawberries on the bottom.

Yum! This will surely be a staple in my kitchen. What is your favorite combination of smoothie ingredients?
