4 SIMPLE “No-Bake” Energy Balls

January 29, 2018 By Sadie Hill

Hi! I’m Sadie Hill, (@sadiehill on instagram) and I’m a 20- something food blogger living in Chicago! I’m super excited to be a part of the #Ericrew. I’ve been working on this article for awhile because I knew I wanted my first post to be both interesting and relatable. I’m a huge “snacker” and figured that there is no way I’m the only one!

I feel like some days I just cannot stop eating! I first discovered these “no bake bites” at work because my boss makes a version of them on a regular basis! I like to keep them in the fridge and  they literally taste like cookie dough! The best part is I can eat multiple and not feel guilty or like I was overindulging. These bites are super easy, and take less than 10 minutes to throw together.

For each recipe, just combine all ingredients until they’re evenly mixed and can be shaped into small bite sized rounds. The nut butters can be switched out depending on what you prefer! I like to use a small cookie scoop to ensure that they’re all the same size.  All of these recipes yield 12-14 bites!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

1 cup Rolled Oats
1/2 cup + 1 TBSP Peanut Butter
1 1/2 TBSP Honey
1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Monster Cookie

1 cup Rolled Oats
3/4 cup Peanut Butter (I prefer crunchy for these)
1 TBSP honey
2 TBSP mini M&M
2 TBSP mini Chocolate Chips

Toasted Coconut & Cocoa Nib

3/4 cup Rolled Oats
1/4 cup Toasted Coconut
3/4 cup Almond Butter
1.5 TBSP Honey
2 TBSP Cocoa Nibs
1 tsp Cinnamon

Cranberry Orange

1 cup Rolled Oats
3/4 cup Almond
1/3 cup Dried Cranberries, chopped
Zest and Juice from 1 Orange
1 TBSP Honey

I hope you guys enjoy these bites as much as I do! If you make them, share your pictures on Instagram and tag me @sadiehill and use #sweetxsavorywithsadie for a feature!!
