As we all know, avocados are the hottest recipe accessory! This creamy, buttery, fruit (yep! it’s a fruit) has been all the rage for the last couple years.
I must say, I dig it.
Whether avocado’s are the inspiration behind an entire restaurant (or just something you’ve learned to love on toast), we are all becoming avo obsessed. Which is why I had to share with you the most perfect, fun and FREE event coming to Chicago, Guaclandia!
Guaclandia is being launched by the makers of Wholly Guacamole as a one-of-a-kind mobile exhibit dedicated to all things avocado. This adorably instagram worthy bus is photo-ready and believe me, I’ll be one of the first ones there to take it all in.
Guaclandia is taking full advantage of our love for avocado with a tons of family-friendly activities. We will definitely be stopping for a photo-op with their pop art inspired avocado wall.
I can also pretty much guarantee that Elia will take full advantage of the avocado chair where you can sit in the pit of the fruit.
With their vintage avo-inspired arcade claw machine, you have a chance to win tons of awesome prizes like pool floats, pop sockets, dad hats and more. Plus, at the end of your visit, you exit Guaclandia by sliding into a jumbo ball pit.
It’s so hard to so say who will love that more, Elia or my husband, lol!
Members of the Wholly Guacamole team will be there too with tips on keeping it real with all the best ingredients! Visitors will have a chance to try Wholly Guacamole Snack Cups, which feature the brand’s signature guacamole made from hand scooped Hass avocados!
You can visit this avocado wonderland, Guaclandia, for free during the Evanston Art & Big Fork Festival in Evanston, Il on August 17-19. As a mom always looking for more summer activities with my little one, you can bet we will be stopping by! Plus…I LOVE Wholly Guacamole…
