Cheesy Garlic Wonton Poppers (1 Point EACH)

July 3, 2019 By Erica Eckman

By now, I’m sure you know how much I love my air fryer for its healthy benefits. That’s why, I seriously cannot get enough of air fryer (or baked) wonton wrapper dishes.

I love these type of dishes for three main reasons. One, I just love how crunchy they are. Two, they’re really easy to make. Three, they’re always a crowd pleaser.

With only three ingredients, these Cheesy Garlic Wonton Poppers are perfect for any event you’re hosting. As soon as you open one up, the cheese just melts right off! Not only are they delicious but a lot more healthier than one that’s fried. Would you believe me if I told you they’re 1 point each?!

Cuisine: Asian
Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • Wonton Wrapper
  • 1 tbsp Alouette Garlic & Herb Cheese
  • Cooking Oil

Method

  1. Take your wonton wrapper and put Alouette Garlic & Herb Cheese in the center. Put a little bit of water around the wrapper so it can seal properly.
  2. Next, pinch two corner sides of the wrapper together then bring the other two pieces in. Fold at the top and make sure they’re sealed.
(You can always check out my "cheesy wonton" highlight video, on Instagram, to see how to fold them up like this!)
  3. Put in freezer for 30 minutes! This is important so the cheese doesn’t evaporate when you cook them.
  4. Spray with cooking oil and air fry at 370 for about 9 minutes until crispy. Or bake at 400 for about 12. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce!

If you’re ever in a rush or simply want to impress your guests, try out this easy, delicious, and healthy recipe. I promise you they’ll be a hit and you’ll leave your guests wanting more.

Love always,
Erica
