Yes, you read the title correctly. Today I’m going to share an incredible recipe for cannoli dip. Go ahead and take a minute and gather yourself (I know I had to when I first heard about this).

Honestly, I wish I could take full-credit for this one, but it was the brain child of my gorgeous friend, Brett (Her Tasty Life). We made it this weekend for a fun couples dinner party and I knew I had to share this with you before the holiday weekend. Basically, this dip is everything you love about a cannoli, but on steroids.

Bottom line, you need to make this.

Heavenly Cannoli Dip

This dip is everything you love about a cannoli, but on steroids!
Prep Time10 mins
Total Time10 mins
Course: Appetizer, Dessert
Cuisine: Italian
Keyword: Cannoli, Dip
Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1.5 cups Ricotta Cheese strained
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1.5 tsp Vanilla I prefer Madagascar vanilla
  • Heavy Whipping Cream as needed
  • 6 oz Mini Semisweet Chocolate Chips for topping

Instructions

  • Strain the Ricotta cheese in cheesecloth, wire mesh strainer or paper towels to drain excess fluid. Don’t skip this step! The dip will be runny otherwise.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the strained ricotta, mascarpone cheese and vanilla.
  • Next begin to add the powdered sugar slowly to avoid clumping. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  • Add heavy whipping cream slowly to thin out the dip to a desired consistency.
  • Serve with cannoli shell or waffle cones (broken into pieces) and fruit of your choice.

We seriously ate the entire bowl of this, it’s that good! We decided to serve it with broken waffle cones, strawberries and bananas. It ended up being a total hit at our little party and I know you will wow your friends with this recipe!

Love always,
Erica
