Apple Cheddar Biscuits w/ Honey

This delicious and tangy apple and cheddar biscuit is perfect with a drizzle of sweet honey!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated; + 2 tablespoons for topping
  • 2 Small Apples diced
  • Honey to drizzle

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. In a small pan, melt your butter over medium heat. Add your apples and sauté until soften (about 5 minutes).
  2. Combine your Bisquick,water, cheese (keep two tablespoons aside) and apples together.
  3. Place dough on a work surface (like a clean counter) and sprinkle a little bit of flour or Bisquick and knead dough 10 times.
  4. Roll dough out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut out your biscuits (should get about 9 depending on size of cutter). Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes on an un-greased cookie sheet. Drizzle honey over the top when they are done!
